A New Home for My Tools
Christmas for me this year consisted of getting a lot of Sears gift cards. Luckily for me, my family understands my obsession for tools and garage gear.
So, I took my gift cards and purchased my dream toolbox last weekend. You can see it pictured on the right, next to my old tool box, which now looks quite puny with its 5 drawers. Beautifully clad in stainless steel, it features 22 drawers with Craftsman's Grip-latch system, that requires that you slightly lift each drawer's handle to open it. It also has large casters and a handle to assist in rolling it around, but I don't think I'll be taking it too many places.
It's nice to be able to intelligently organize my tools. I'm having a little trouble finding things at this point, but I'm sure that'll get easier with time.
As with many purchases that I make, there's an interesting story with this one. Like I said above, we went and picked it out last Sunday. Just before I purchased it, I wondered if I should wait for it to go on sale. But, I had been waiting long enough and was ready to do it. Fast forward to yesterday: We go in Sears to buy something else and I noticed that my new toolbox is on sale this week -- $200 less than what I paid last week. DOH. So, I asked one of the sales associates if Sears has any kind of price protection policy. They told me that they do offer refunds for items purchased if they go on sale up to 15 days afterwards. So I was in luck. I brought my receipt back in, and after a bit of confusion on behalf of the confused cashier, I'm now $210 better off than before. I love getting a good deal.

Use your Wii To Lose Weight
My future brother-in-law recently launched his latest webiste project. Like me, he's always up to some new web project and I think we both have plans to take over the Internet one day.
Anyways, his new project is one that interests me and may even interest some of you. The website is MoveYourWii.com. The main idea behind the site is that there are lots of people out there who use their Nintendo Wii game consoles as part of their diet and exercise regimen. The site allows registered users to track their weight loss goals and Nintendo Wii usage. It also has lots of great new articles about Wii and diet and weight loss.
He's done a great job building a really cool-looking site, so if you're trying to lose weight while playing Wii games, make sure you check out MoveYourWii.com.
