First, remove the battery and CD-ROM modules. Then, release the keyboard tabs and remove the keyboard. Unplug the keyboard from the keyboard ribbon cable. Next, remove the cover in front of the keyboard. This will allow you to access the monitor connectors underneath.

Next, open the connectors door and unscrew the four screws that connect the LCD to the base.
